BIOL 190/190L INTRODUCTION TO CELL AND MOLECULAR BIOLOGY(4 credits)
Prerequisite or corequisite: CHEM 121 or equivalent. (3 credits lecture, 1 credit lab) Covers the structure and function of cells. Included will be the major molecules of life composition and physiology of cellular organelles, cellular metabolism, reproduction, motility, gene function and related topics. Students must enroll in both lecture and lab to receive credit. Note: BIOL 190/190L plus BIOL 191/191L transfer to UNR as fulfilling BIOL 190, 191 and 192 requirements.
